About Friends of Timberline

Turning interest into action

At Friends of Timberline, we value preservation, education, and protection of the enduring legacy of Oregon's National Historic Landmark Timberline Lodge. Since our inception in 1975, we've remained steadfast in our mission to serve as catalysts for positive change in conserving Timberline,

from art preservation, to large-scale construction projects, to furniture, fabric, and lighting restorations.

Our organization was born from a shared commitment to preserving Timberline's rich history, and a belief in the power of collective action. Over the last 50 years, our members and volunteers have dedicated themselves to safeguarding the art, architecture, furnishings, and natural environs of this beloved Lodge, a location that holds a special place in millions of hearts worldwide. Every visitor to Timberline experiences its scale and significance, and each member of our community holds a unique connection to this iconic site.

Will you join us in our mission and turn your passion for Timberline Lodge into purposeful action?
