Everybody has a "Timberline Tale" to tell and our clever and lively member events are the perfect place to share them!
Our 46 year history is full of celebration and fun as we've put together so many gatherings: project launch and project completion parties, biennial Mountain High Exhibit unveilings, even a "Pucci Parteee!" to honor famous ski buff and Italian fashion designer Emilio Pucci (out on the slopes the Pucci Lift and Pucci Glade carry his name.)

FALL EVENTS
Last year for the 2020 Annual Meeting we went virtual with an online gathering for FOT members. Thank you to everyone who "attended" and congratulations to our newest directors.
For those who missed it our first "Virtual Lodge Visit" broadcast went live (via Zoom) on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from a makeshift live studio up at Timberline.
This online program replaced the traditional annual gathering held up at the Lodge each fall. Along with United States Senator Ron Wyden, speakers included Mount Hood National Forest supervisor Richard Periman, area operator Jeff Kohnstamm from R.L.K. and Company, tourism industry head and CEO of Travel Oregon Todd Davidson, FOT President Brent Dahl, and Charles Matschek AIA, NCARB, LEED GA, chair of FOT’s Naturalistic Pools Restoration Project committee.
Save the date for the 2021 Annual Meeting: Saturday October 2.
Soon we'll kickoff plans for the 2021 FOT Auction. Whether online or in person, over 100 items will be up for bid including Timberline related memorabilia, once in a lifetime experiences, art, travel, food, wine, and holiday gifts.

WINTER EVENTS
Sometimes planned, sometimes spur of the moment - gather with fellow FOTers and Timberline enthusiasts for small private dinners or around a screening of a classic Warren Miller ski movie. Our Special Events Committee can help create a virtual or in-person event.
SPRING EVENTS
A sold out crowd (May 2019) for "History Happy Hour" at the Oregon Historical Society featured John Bishop, President of Pendleton Woolen Mills with a historical revisit intertwining the products and people of Pendleton Woolen Mills within chapters of the Timberline story and the enduring theme elements of Oregon pioneer, American Indian and wildlife.
Plans for our next "History Happy Hour" are on hold for now due to local coronavirus-related restrictions.

SUMMER EVENTS
The increasingly popular summertime Artist Lecture Series rolls on; our most recent Fine Arts Luncheon (August 2019) featured "A Tribute to Ray Atkeson" with Rick Schafer, Atkeson's stepson and protege. Photo buffs and lovers of all things Timberline heard well chosen anecdotes describing the scenic photography pioneer Atkeson who amassed more than 250,000 images in his six decades of work.
We hope to be able to present the Fine Arts Luncheon again soon.

MONTHLY EVENTS
On hold for now, but we're looking forward to 2021 and if the ongoing coronavirus concerns have subsided, we'll once again look to putting on our membership mixer that's open to all.
The idea (at least it was in 2020): stop by, meet somebody new, and swap stories at one of our First Thursday gatherings each month between 5pm - 7pm or so at Mt. Hood Brewing Tilikum Station in SE Portland. No entry fee, no-host food and beverage. Learn about FOT and Timberline Lodge in a casual conversation with one of our Board members.
